...as much as the other shows I saw on that tour, but it was solid. I was in kind of a bad space at the time, having been evicted from my apartment in S.F. and doing way too many drugs, and I don't mean herb. So I was feeling negative vibes in the crowd, and from the stage (they took forever to come on) even though I had Taller seats in the second or third row, on Rich's side, but if it sounds good now, maybe it was better than I remember.
: One Mirror Too Many (1st time played) (They actually started this with a jam for a couple mintues before going into the song, at least as I recall it. Nice start.)
: A Conspiracy (First time I'd seen it live - awesome.)
: Jam -> Bring On, Bring On (much better than the version I'd heard in July)
: Hotel Illness (Finally, some Harmony, and a great one)
: Ballad In Urgency ->
: Wiser Time (great to hear these together, with the guy from Frisco's own late, great American Music Club reprising his part on WT)
: Sting Me (not always in the two-hole!)
: Big Time (1st time played) (I didn't have Broken Arrow at this point, so I didn't know what the hell this was, but it sounded great)
: Thick N Thin (My least fave from the first few records - yuck)
: Girl From A Pawnshop (First time hearing this; sweet!)
: Blackberry (First time hearing this as well; seemed sloppy to me, though I actually liked it a lot on the record)
: Hard To Handle (I always seem to get this, and I usually don't enjoy it. This time was no exception.)
: - encore -
: Twice As Hard (Always fun, every time, if not my first choice for encore)
: Sister Luck (Just beautiful, and perfect for where I was at the time)
: Remedy (Great, but bittersweet, since you know the evening is almost over)
: Bruce Kaphan played guitar on Wiser Time and Girl From A Pawnshop
