Word beforehand was there would be no taping, which leads one to believe they would be selling copies of the shows. Someone said that there were tapers there yesterday, but I've heard nothing further, so not sure.
Marc said that Rich asked Steve to be in the band, but he had to pass because he's busy with his radio show. Joe's doing a great job, he's not running into the same problem Bill did.
The shows have been really great. Very deep setlists (one repeat in three shows and it was a Hookah Brown song). The guitar interplay is off the charts, Rich and Marc are so perfect together,you can see how they feel about each other (would've never believed it back in the day). The Ballad/Wiser they played was one of the best I've ever heard. Marc is on fire right now, his tone is STELLAR and he's clearly inspired.
About half the songs are Crowes tunes, but the rest are interesting covers or Marc and Rich solo tunes. The band is tearing up those tracks, if they want to continue after these shows, I'm confident they won't just be a nostalgia act.
