Show lineup was Magpie without Marc and the ladies. Hogg's been practicing as he (not surprisingly) sounded more confident at these shows. Lots of videos on YouTube of the shows.
Rich did press... said he didn't want the Black Crowes to be a watered down version of the Grateful Dead, he was taken aback by Chris wanting he and Steve to give up their shares of the band, that he and Chris haven't talked in years, and he will never work with him again.
Magpie has not started writing songs as of yet for an album and Rich mentioned he found Nico because he did a cover of "Baby" that Rich received via Twitter, and now he's in the band. Marc did say recently they definitely want to do a record.
Summer tour is booked, myself and two friends going to Red Bank show. Looking forward to it.
