Regarding real musicians getting bored:
Mitchell is a guy playing 30 minute songs in his own band. But they are an extremely obscure band playing for small audiences.
LeFebvre left an incredible band in TTB to do smaller stuff.
Both are great musicians that are not rolling around in money, and they probably will make some decent money to keep their own careers alive.
In a sense they are no different than CR and RR, but I cannot really judge them and say they are ”selling out”. Nobody throws money on real musicians anymore. Companies like Spotify have fake music that are on their toplists to prevent paying money to real musicians.
: Exactly. Ironically, this is the perfect spot for Audley or Jackie Greene, where it is generic musicians 101.

: I am sort of laughing at the pining for the quest to replace the 2nd guitar part in this band, and here is where you don’t have to have it if you just need to learn 15 songs that are mid tempo bar band numbers.
